Atlantic Heights Surf Lodge is Situated between Newquay (5 miles) and the Padstow road (3/4 mile to B3276), Atlantic Heights is ideally located for those who enjoy both the amenities of a popular tourist resort and the serenity of the countryside.

Watergate Bay beach is just a 5 minute walk down the road.
There are good parking facilities close to the beach. Watergate Beach at low tide is 3 miles long and offers great opportunities for relaxing walks along the beautiful sandy beach. It’s a great beach for surfing, wind surfing and kite surfing. There are beautiful coastal paths if you enjoy walking and you can take in the spectacular views and observe the many rare species of birds.
In Watergate village itself, don't miss the amazing 'Gone Feral' surf shop, one of the few remaining 'real' independent surf outlets.

For those who like to travel further afield there’s a different bay to visit every day. Between Padstow and Watergate you will find Mawgan Porth, Bedruthan Steps, Treyarnon, Constantine, Harlyn and Trevose Bays; each within a 20 minute drive from the Lodge.

Newquay is just 10 minutes away by car. There are lots of activities in and around Newquay to suit all tastes and ages: two bowling alleys, Waterworld, Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo, crazy golf, surf hire and lessons, scuba diving courses, sports centre and boat trips to see the Cornish grey seals and coach tours.

For those who prefer the nightlife there are plenty of pubs and clubs in Newquay to suit everyone’s taste in music.
Taxis are available to and from the Lodge, but should be pre booked during the day.
